LOTTERY RELEASES BACON-SCENTED SCRATCH TICKET

Denver, August 10, 2015 – Something big is sizzling at the Colorado Lottery! Today the Lottery launches the new $1 Makin’ Bacon Scratch ticket featuring a smoky, bacon aroma.

The game has Top Prizes of $4,000 and will be sold at all of the Lottery’s more than 3,000 retailers. Adding a tasty bonus to promote the launch, fans will have the chance to win Bacon For Life.

The Lottery will team up with Colorado-based Tender Belly, to host two promotional events on the Front Range celebrating all things bacon. The Lottery and Tender Belly will be on site at the following locations:

• Get right in the thick of it at the main gate just outside Security Service Field at 4385 Tutt Blvd. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the Colorado Springs Sky Sox game on August 20.
• Stop and smell the bacon at the Wynkoop Walkway at Wynkoop and 20th Street outside Coors Field from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the Rockies game August 21.

The team will be handing out free bacon samples, promotional items, and Scratch tickets on site. Bacon buffs will also have the chance to enter a raffle to win one-pound packs of Tender Belly bacon and “Bacon For A Year”.

Get ready to pig out – the Lottery and Tender Belly will also take part in a free online promotional drawing to award one lucky winner Tender Belly “Bacon For Life”.
